This is a John Gould original mounted on backerboard. Measurement 14 1/2 x 21 1/2 inches. Although you may purchase it as is and immediately frame it to prevent further damage, we suggest taking it to a conservator. The board is brittle and tears are evident as shown. The tear at top extends almost until the back of the top bird. When framed the tears will not be so pronounced. Price reflects cost of future conservation/restoration, which we recommend.
