This print is from the last group of prints known to have come out of Bowen’s studio. Well-worn, it is possible that it too was used as a pattern print during the time Bowen lithographed Audubon’s quadrupeds. This print speaks to the history of American printmaking. A once in a generation historic find. Reasonably priced.
