STATE OF TENNESSEE IN SEVIER, GOVERNOR in and over the same
To all who shall see these presents, Greetings
KNOW Ye, that I do commission White Carter a Justice of the Peace, in and for the County of the said county, and do authorise and empower him to execute and fulfil the duties of a Justice of the Peace, in and for the said County agreeably to the constitution and laws of the state aforesaid, during good behaviour, with all the powers, privileges and emoluments thereto of right appertaining.
In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand, and caused the Great Seal of the State, to be affixed, at Knoxville, the (blank) day of (blank) in the year 1800.
