Offered is an original Autograph Letter Signed ("Lafayette") by Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette, the celebrated French aristocrat and military officer who became one of the most important foreign supporters of the American Revolution.
This multi-page letter was written at Lagrange and dated 27 July 1827.
