Offered is an original 1932 Franklin D. Roosevelt campaign-era letter on Executive Mansion, Albany, New York letterhead.
Dated July 18, 1932, the letter was sent to Jack I. Chaiken of Brooklyn, New York shortly after Roosevelt secured the Democratic nomination for President of the United States.
In the letter Roosevelt thanks the recipient for his congratulations and expresses confidence in the Democratic platform and national ticket during the historic 1932 presidential campaign that would ultimately bring him to the White House.
Notable text includes:
"I feel most confident that the principles of our platform will bring success at the polls to our national ticket."
