This is a beautiful lithograph of French President Marie Edme Patrice Maurice de MacMahon measuring 27 x 21 inches including the margins.

Marie Edme Patrice Maurice de MacMahon (1808–1893), was a distinguished French general and politician who served as the first President of the Third French Republic from 1875 to 1879. He was also a Marshal of France and the 1st Duke of Magenta.
The signature does not appear to be that of the President and we have been unsuccessful in authenticating the signature.
