Grantee: James A. Stewart, Charles M. Evets Junior, and James Mc Comb, as Trustees of the Estate of Robert Adams.
Date: Signed and dated August 14, 1786. It was approved and passed the Secretary's Office on October 6, 1789.
Signatories: Witnessed by George Clinton, Esquire, Governor of New York from 1777 to 1795 and again from 1801 to 1804. It is also signed by Lewis A. Scott, Secretary.
Location: The land is described as a tract in the County of Montgomery. It is designated as Lot Number Nineteen, containing two hundred and forty-three acres.
Conditions: The grant stipulated that one actual settlement must be made on the land within seven years, or the patent would become void.
Reservations: The State reserved all gold and silver mines, and five acres of every hundred acres for public highways.
